| Loss of material is minimized using diamond wire in the slicing process. The amount of material removed is dictated by the wire size used. The choice of wire diameter varies with the characteristics of the material sliced but generally the kerf removed per slice is in the range of .230mm. Less kerf loss means increased yield to you. |
